A Police Officer or Officers are dispatched to an incident 240,000 times a year. This equates to once EVERY 2.2 MINUTES, 24 hours EVERY day, 7 days EVERY week and 365 days EVERY day of the year.

The Fire Department personnel respond to 10,000 fires and 32,000 medical calls a year. This equates to a response EVERY 13 MINUTES...24 hours EVERY day, 7 days EVERY week and 365 days EVERY day of the year.
